Abstract: The paper analyzes the approaches to formulation the problems for the neural network simulation. It’s grounded the existence of correlation between formulation of the problem and the performance of the resulting model. To formalize the procedure of the problem formulation it’s proposed a set of basic tasks for which justified the use of different types of neural networks. Also it’s considered the results of the solution the foreign exchange dealer problem in various formulations.
